2017 Annual General Meeting
The 2017 Shoal Bay Community Association Inc. will hold its Annual General Meeting on:
Monday 14 August 2017 at 4pm. The meeting is open to all interested members of the public.
The venue will be the:
Star Room, Whitesands Conference Centre in the Shoal Bay Country Club.
The full agenda will be posted in the week prior to the meeting
Shoal Bay Country Club’s Owner/Director Andrew Lazarus will speak at the meeting to update the Association with their upcoming plans.
Port Stephens Council‘s Community and Recreation Coordinator Brock Lamont and Council's Asset Manager John Maretich will attend
the meeting to update issues affecting Shoal Bay.
A major item on of the agenda will be a motion to accept the new Constitution that includes changes required by the NSW State Government. Due to feedback this has been updated recently with minor changes to the original document. Please make yourself familiar with the Constitution, it is available in the SBCA tab above.
Nominations for the election of office-bearers of the Association or as ordinary committee members are required as per item 17 of the new Constitution and should to be sent to the Secretary at least seven days before the AGM (7 Aug).

With the elections due shortly Tomaree Ratepayers Association is hosting a ‘Meet the Candidates’ Forum on Tuesday 15 August at 7.00 pm.
They have issued an invitation to all interested members of the public as per attached pdf.
